Company brochure photography

It's always nice to see your work in it's finished form for a commercial client. I love the way that graphic designers work with my photographs and incorporate them into company brochures. I'm so used to seeing them in a 3 x 2 ratio and straight out of camera, that it's really interesting seeing how they are manipulated and changed to work with the final graphics.

So this was a shoot that I did for Riverside Environmental Services via a design agency, a while back where I got to spend a day with them at their business headquarters and see the kind of work that they do there. It's always really useful to spend time with clients and see how the business works as I feel this is reflected in the final photography.

This month Viva Brighton magazine features my regular spot called The Way We Work, where I take portraits of Brighton and Hove business people in various trades.

I was out shooting people from Brighton's technology industry, so design agency's, tech companies, media companies etc.

George Osbourne Visits Sussex Business

They say a week is a long time in politics and this week seems longer than most.

This time last week I was photographing the Chancellor George Osbourne on a visit to a Sussex engineering firm who I sometime shoot for as part of the EU Referendum Remain campaign. And a week later, we are living in a very different world. If I would have described to him last week all that would happen in the next seven days, I doubt he would have believed me. 

A week surely is a long time in politics.
