I always like enquiries which start off with someone saying ‘ I liked the vibe of your photography ‘.
This shoot was for a professional cognitive hypnotherapist who was setting up a new business and needed some relaxed and informal portraits on location rather than against a plain background.
So we shot the images in her home in Sussex, with a few different looks and worked together to create something with a bride that the images should work well for a weekend magazine. The idea being that once they were on her website they would stand out from the other people in her industry.
I always like to relax people i’m photographing and find a connection and I like most shoots we just ended up having a great conversation the entire time, so it didn’t feel like a photoshoot, which I think is the key to get a great portrait.
