Brighton Gin Distillery Commercial Photography

Brighton Business Photography - Brighton Gin Distillery

I was very fortunate to be able to spend a wonderful afternoon at the Brighton Gin distillery, taking photos of the who process of making Gin.

I really learnt a lot and loved every minute of it. It’s given me a greater love for Brighton Gin and the lovely people who run the business.

The thing that I was most surprised and impressed by, was the list for the staff’s tea and coffee. I loved the way that everyone was so precise about the length of time the tea bag should stay in the cup for. The exact measurements of coffee and sugar for everyones brew. I’m also sure that I saw a paint sample chart for how milky certain people like their tea. This I really respect.

Creative Commercial Company Head Shots

I've just finished editing a quick commercial company head shot shoot which I photographed in London last week between board meetings.

I didn't have long with each subject but we managed to do a quite a few different group shots as well as a load of different head shots / profile portraits for each board member in colour and in black & white. I like the challenge of working quickly with people who aren't used to having their photo taken.

If you're looking for any company profile shots / commercial & business staff head shots / corporate profile shots, please do give me a shout as I'd love to hear from you.

SILO Brighton chef portrait

Brighton Chef Magazine Portrait

A little while ago I was asked to take a portrait of the head chef Doug, at the zero waste restaurant SILO in Brighton for specialist coffee magazine Longberry. Which is a very cool publication and describes itself as 'An occasional journal of coffee.'

Doug the head chef is quite a character and is doing some really interesting things with food. So if you get a chance, you should really head down there. He was also a man in demand. When I arrived he was just finishing one interview and there was already a film crew standing by to interview him for something else. So I only had five mins with him, but managed to get a couple of portraits that I'm really happy with.

And this is what the finished article looked like in the magazine.
