Why should you hire a professional photographer for your business head shots?
Showing some before and after photos using a few people skills to get the best natural image of someone and relax them in front of the camera.

Professional Company Headshots
A professional company headshot can really make a difference to a website. I often check out businesses About Us page to see who it is I’m talking too.
The amount of awful and amateur images I see on these pages really saddens me. You can tell that they were taken with a phone in awful light and don’t flatter the person at all.
If a company or business can’t invest photography and in taking decent photos to represent their own business what are they doing with your business.
it just makes sense to me that a business would want to represent themselves as best as they could. So I really enjoy helping them to do so and working with their staff to get great portraits / headshots / profile images.
Management Team Company Head Shots
There is something very rewarding about taking company head shots / corporate profile / professional portraits of board members and management teams.
I just love when people don’t have much time and the come into the meeting room which I’ve set my studio up in and I guarantee that the first thing that at least 50% of the people will say to me is: ‘Oh I hate having my photo taken.’ or ‘I’m really not photogenic and have never seen a good photo of me.’
I always see this as a challenge and a wrong to be put right. So I make it my mission to make them look good and for the last thing that they say to me to be: ‘Oh I don’t look bad in that. I really like it and that wasn’t painful at all.’
I really do believe that everyone is photogenic. You just need a good photographer to capture the real you. And this is why it really is worth investing in company head shots / corporate profile / professional portraits for your business.
Creative Commercial Company Head Shots

Creative Commercial Company Head Shots
I've just finished editing a quick commercial company head shot shoot which I photographed in London last week between board meetings.
I didn't have long with each subject but we managed to do a quite a few different group shots as well as a load of different head shots / profile portraits for each board member in colour and in black & white. I like the challenge of working quickly with people who aren't used to having their photo taken.
If you're looking for any company profile shots / commercial & business staff head shots / corporate profile shots, please do give me a shout as I'd love to hear from you.

It's always nice to see how your work ends up being used and i'm very pleased to share this with you.
So this is the end result of a head shot / profile shoot that I did with the lovely Hayley Lawes (who I met back in 2010 when I shot her wedding). She wanted something simple that could be used in a few different ways, so I suggested a few different set ups and a change of clothes to get the most out of the portrait shoot. And I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I didn't think the website would be as image heavy as it is and I think it looks great.
Hayley is so professional and great at what she does and I love how her coaching site really shows her off as she is really selling herself.
Portrait of a Brighton Photography Legend
Tony Tree - Brighton Argus Photographer
It's always a pleasure to taking a photographers portrait and usually a bit daunting. However on this occasion it was an absolute joy.
I had to take a portrait of legendary Brighton photographer Tony Tree (which you can see in this months Viva Brighton magazine), who has worked with the likes of David Bailey and Helmut Newton. He also spent 20 years as a photographer for The Brighton Argus during the 70s, 80s and 90s when press photography was a very different beast to what it is today.
Tony was a joy to photography and to chat to about all things photographic and hear some stories of the past. He was so accommodating and I wanted to capture some of that kindness in the portrait. I also took inspiration for this portrait from one of my favourite photographers the wonderful Jane Bown. Who worked for the Observer for many many years and worked with minimal equipment and always shot on an old black and white film camera. This portrait wasn't shot on film, but I was thinking of her during the shoot.
So thanks so much Tony and Jane.
Brighton Festival CEO portrait
Seeing as it's currently the Brighton Festival on at the moment I thought I'd share a portrait of the Brighton Dome and Festival CEO Andrew Comben that I took recently.
This is another of my portraits which could come under the subheading 'portraits taken in corridors outside of toilets". For some reason I always end up in unusual places taking my shots.
