I always like working with creative people and photographing them in their studios. I just feel comfortable and relaxed with them for some reason.
This time was with the lovely Guy Parker-Rees who is an amazing British illustrator and author of children's books. Some of which I’d already got for my kids, including Giraffes Can't Dance.
Guy wanted a couple of different looks and feels for the profile shots / portraits, to use in various publications and websites as well as a formal bio pic.
So we just had a great chat and talked about everything and anything while I went about taking Guy’s portrait and setting up the different shots in Guy’s Brighton studio.
I’m really pleased with how these came out and it just goes to show that you don’t need a big space to create different looks.
